EarnRapport ("we", "our", or "the app") is a mobile application that helps users practice business conversations with AI-powered voice agents. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and an optional display name. Authentication is handled through Supabase Auth.

Voice Data: During practice sessions, your voice is recorded and sent to our speech-to-text service (Deepgram) for real-time transcription. Voice recordings are processed in real time and are not permanently stored. Transcribed text is used only for the current session's conversation flow and scoring.

Usage Data: We track your progress, XP, session scores, and completed lessons to provide a personalized learning experience. This data is stored in our database and associated with your account.

Subscription Information: If you subscribe to EarnRapport Pro, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive subscription status information through RevenueCat but never see your payment details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the conversation practice experience
• To track your learning progress and maintain streaks
• To generate AI responses during practice sessions
• To score your conversation performance and provide feedback
• To manage your subscription status

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the app:

• Supabase — Authentication and database hosting
• OpenAI — AI conversation generation (GPT-4o Mini)
• Deepgram — Speech-to-text and text-to-speech processing
• RevenueCat — Subscription management
• Vercel — API hosting

Each service processes data according to their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

4. Data Retention

Your account data and progress are retained as long as you maintain an active account. Session conversation transcripts are not permanently stored after the session ends. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication tokens, and row-level security on our database. Voice data is transmitted over encrypted connections and processed in real time without permanent storage.

6. Children's Privacy

EarnRapport is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Export your progress data

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email.
